The Bevica User Group
With over 15 years’ experience in the drinks industry, our Bevica experts Claudio Martell and Ben Marriott took to the floor to talk about what lies ahead for the software in 2019. They delivered an interesting demo on stock forecasting and then hosted a workshop for clients to ask questions and drill down deeper into the systems inner workings.
The discussions focussed around the implications of using Business Central compared with NAV (also discussed heavily by Pippa earlier in the day), on premise vs private cloud or public cloud and a hybrid option.
Thoughts then turned to: the Business Central / Bevica / TVision roadmap, having named users on licences rather than concurrent licences (clients will need to name all of their users going forward), changes to the CAL code in SaaS now AL (CAL being the proprietary coding platform in NAV) making tax digital, contingency plans for 29th March after the Brexit deadline, training, upgrades and more.
Making the session constructive for both ourselves and clients, we are always keen to ask for and explore real world feedback. Helping us gauge client sentiment, the users groups are essential for us to learn how Bevica is used on a day-to-day basis. Taking all suggestions and recommendations made within the group on board from the day, we will be using them to help improve the Bevica solution, as well as inform the agenda for future user groups.
If you attended and wish to see a summary of the day or would simply like to know more, please get in touch.
Our next Bevica user group will be held later on this year. The date and location will be announced very soon.
