Today was the final day of the British Business Show 2015. The event, now in its 13th year, has proved extremely popular with business owners from a range of sectors keen to explore tools and tactics to grow their businesses.

Key to the tools for growth is IT systems. For smaller businesses, the cloud is proving a compelling proposition. Adopting a cloud strategy enables the business to access the same productivity tools as much larger organisations at a fraction of the cost and without the overhead of maintaining infrastructure.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV was well represented and well received. The “In, On and With” proposition supported by Microsoft and realised by TVT Cloud partner, QBS with their “OneBizz” offering provides a quick and inexpensive route to utilising the fabulous features and functionality of Dynamics NAV 2016 to manage the business, WITH Dynamics CRM to grow new business all working seamlessly IN Office365 to leverage Word and Excel (very familiar tools) and ON Windows Azure, providing that all important infrastructure and ease of access to the business tools (this is what Satya Nadella means by “more mobile”; the ability to easily access, through the devices you like to use, from wherever you may be).

Our sister company TVT Cloud, has been helping small businesses adopt and deploy Dynamics NAV in the Cloud. Companies such as North South Wines, a start-up wine merchant keen to gain great business tools and avoid the capital expenditure. That project was recognised by Microsoft with North South Wines winning a Customer Excellence Award for Innovation alongside the likes of Chanel, Hugo Boss and Aston Martin.
